Forward your calls to Tend. When someone calls, Tend picks up, has a natural conversation, checks your calendar, books appointments, takes messages, and blocks spam. You get a short text summary after each call.

How long does setup take?

Setup takes about 2 minutes. Just forward your calls to Tend and you're done. No hardware, no contracts.

Does Tend work with any phone?

Yes, Tend works with any phone that supports call forwarding — iPhone, Android, and landlines.

How much does Tend. Butler cost?

Building your butler is free. Activation is a one-time 199 kr with your first month included, then 149 kr/month with 120 minutes of calls. Business plans start at 499 kr/month (Butler Solo, 300 minutes) up to 2.999 kr/month (Business, 2,000 minutes and 3 lines). Extra minutes are billed from 1,30 kr/minute.

What integrations does Tend. Butler support?

Tend integrates with Google Calendar for booking today, plus HubSpot and Pipedrive for CRM sync. Integrations with Danish tools like Planway, e-conomic and DinnerBooking are in development for business customers.

What languages does Tend. Butler support?

Tend speaks natural Danish and English and automatically answers in the caller's language. More languages are on the roadmap.

Can Tend. Butler make outbound calls?

Yes. With the Full Butler plan, you can ask Tend to make calls on your behalf — cancel appointments, reschedule meetings, or follow up with contacts. You get a text summary when it's done.

Absolutely. Tend offers dedicated business plans for restaurants, clinics, salons, auto shops, and more. Features include multi-line support, analytics dashboards, team management, knowledge base training, and custom integrations.

1. Who We Are

Tend. ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered phone answering service. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website and services at tendbutler.com.

Phone data: Your phone number and the Tend phone number assigned to you.
Call data: Caller phone numbers, call duration, call timestamps, and transcript summaries generated by our AI.
Contact data: Names and phone numbers you add to your VIP or blocked contact lists.
Calendar data: If you connect Google Calendar, we access your availability (free/busy status) and can create events on your behalf.
Payment data: Billing information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Usage data: Minutes used, feature usage, and technical logs for service improvement.
Device data: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data for the following purposes:

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Tend:

Supabase (EU region) — Database hosting and authentication.
Twilio — Phone number provisioning and SMS delivery.
VAPI — Voice AI call processing.
Hume AI / ElevenLabs — Voice synthesis for your AI assistant.
Stripe — Payment processing (PCI DSS compliant).
Google — Calendar integration (with your explicit consent).

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention

Call logs and summaries: Retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
Account data: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Payment records: Retained for 5 years as required by tax law.
Calendar tokens: Deleted immediately when you disconnect Google Calendar.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), row-level security on all database tables, and secure credential storage. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your personal data.
Rectify inaccurate data.
Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
Restrict or object to certain processing.
Data portability — receive your data in a structured format.
